Implant: an artificial tooth root in the shape of a screw that is placed in the jaw to replace missing teeth. Because the jawbone perceives titanium as a part of the body, the implants are mostly made of titanium, and the success rate of the implants in Turkey is extremely high due to the high tissue compatibility. It is widely used in dentistry because it can be applied in a wide range of situations, from single tooth deficiencies to patients with no teeth. This application is performed without interfering with neighbouring teeth. Implant styles have evolved in the twenty-first century to provide both the closest to normal biting sensation and the possibility of treatment without interfering with other teeth. The ability to treat without interfering with other teeth and the closest to natural biting sensation have made implant styles one of the most useful treatment options available in the twenty-first century.

How Many Types of Implants Are There?
There are numerous types of implants in Turkey. The screw-shaped implant, on the other hand, is the most widely used and well-known implant today. External implant types are determined by the structure and tissue in the area where the implant will be made, and the application process begins as a result. The following are some examples of implants in Turkey: Subperiosteal implants in Turkey are implants that are measured and placed in the dental bone. The most significant advantage of subperiosteal implants is that they distribute chewing intensity unevenly throughout the dental bone. Things to Do in Turkey Before Getting an Implant
Planning
Planning is the most basic step that needs to be taken before the implant process can begin. Correct treatment process planning, which consists of several stages, is critical in order to return quickly to daily life and not disrupt the treatment process in the face of potential disruption. Planning should be done by taking into account each stage of implant application as a result of a thorough examination of the case physician and patient.
The Bone Structure
In general, compatibility is the most important thing that determines whether a new tooth implant will work or not. One of the many benefits that implant dentistry promises is that it helps a lot with the problem of teeth not fitting together. If the structure of the bone in the mouth is compatible with the materials used, implant dental treatment, in which the structure of the bone is very important, can be done much faster.
System of Digestive Excretion
Before beginning treatment, it is important to understand the importance of teeth to the digestive system. Implant treatment promises short-term fixes while letting people keep using their teeth, which are important for the first part of the digestive system.
Dental Hygiene
For the compatibility problem to be solved before treatment starts, oral hygiene is just as important as bone structure. So, before starting treatment, the mouth should be kept as clean as possible, and bad habits that could hurt the mouth's overall health should be stopped.
Preference for Materials and Patented Products
Because of recent improvements, dental implant treatment is now a good choice for a wide range of patients. Because of this situation, the materials used in the treatment are of varying quality. So, before you start the treatment, you should find out about the patent and make sure that only materials made of pure titanium will be used.
Preference for Experienced Doctors
As in all parts of health, the choice of doctor is very important when getting dental implants. Oral and dental health doctors at Mita Clinic are experts in implant treatment. They offer personalised solutions, patient-centered treatment methods, high-quality materials with patents, and expert staff.

What to Do After Getting Implants in Turkey
You can eat something an hour after the implant treatment if you remove the gauze sponges that were placed in your mouth. It is critical that you eat soft foods for the first 24 hours after surgery. Similarly, avoid hot food and drink for a few hours following the implant procedure. Also, avoid using a straw for at least 24 hours. These precautions will improve your mouth's ability to heal properly. It is possible for post-implant bleeding to occur. Unless the bleeding is under control, do not change diapers during the first hour. After an hour, the packages can be gently removed. If active bleeding persists, insert new gauze to keep the surgical site pressurised for another 30 minutes. After that, the gauze can be changed as needed (typically every 30 to 45 minutes). For more comfortable positioning, moisten the gauze with tap water and soften it loosely. Swelling on your face is normal after surgery and will subside in 2–3 days. Swelling can be reduced by applying a cold pack, an ice pack, or a bag of frozen cloth wrapped in a towel to the cheeks near the surgical site. During the first 24 hours after surgery, this should be done for twenty minutes. If you have been prescribed medication to reduce swelling, make sure you use it correctly. As always, good and correct oral hygiene practises are essential following dental implant surgery. You can brush your teeth again 24 hours after the implant procedure. Brushes with soft bristles will aid in gentle brushing. Aside from that, rinsing your mouth with a little salt water (1/4 teaspoon of salt per glass of water) can help clean your mouth. You should refrain from using any additional products, such as mouthwashes, for 14 days following the implant.
